TheThe Indian government is set to host its inaugural 'Digital India' Future Skills Summit in Guwahati, unveiling over 20 strategic collaborations aimed at enhancing skills development. The summit, inaugurated by Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar, will convene more than 1,000 dignitaries, including thought leaders, industry experts, policymakers, educators, and tech enthusiasts. Discussions will center around the global impact of rapid digitization, emphasizing opportunities for young Indians in advanced technologies such as AI, ML, semiconductors, robotics, and cybersecurity.

The summit aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision to transform India into a global talent hub by capitalizing on emerging technologies. Acknowledging skills as the key to prosperity, the event aims to formulate a roadmap for achieving these goals. Bringing together India's finest minds, the summit will facilitate discussions on strategies for shaping the future of talent in the country.

Notably, the summit will witness the announcement of over 20 strategic collaborations between the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) and industry leaders such as Intel, HCL, Microsoft, Kindryl, IIM Raipur, IIITM Gwalior, Wipro, and others. The agenda includes four-panel discussions on themes like 'Semicon India,' 'IndiaAI,' 'Cyber Security and Emerging Technologies for Future Skills,' and 'Digital Future Skills'. This initiative is poised to play a crucial role in advancing India's skills landscape and embracing the opportunities presented by the digital era.
