Drishti IAS has released a significant update to its Drishti Learning App, bringing a range of AI-powered features intended to improve the experience of UPSC candidates

This is a significant advancement for educational technology in India.

The update, which is currently available for iOS and Android, represents a major advancement in smart learning by combining artificial intelligence and human knowledge to assist one of the most difficult academic paths in the nation.

To address the intricacies of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination—one of the most difficult tests in the world, drawing over a million applications annually—the move combines artificial intelligence with expert-led pedagogy, marking a significant advancement in smart learning.

The updated Drishti Learning App offers three key features: Ask Me a Question, a real-time Q&A feature that lets students ask questions right within the app interface; AI Quiz, which creates assessments based on video content; and AI Summary, which distills lengthy lectures into concentrated key points for quick revision.

Targeting a wide range of learners, these elements are currently offered for IAS Foundation Courses in both Hindi and English.

The tools themselves are smoothly integrated to guarantee use, and each AI-generated response is labeled explicitly to preserve transparency.

Speaking on the launch, Abhishek Baru, Chief Technology Officer at Drishti IAS said, “This is not just a tech enhancement; it’s a commitment to educational empowerment. With these AI tools, we’re enabling students to study smarter—not harder. Our goal is to provide each aspirant with a digital mentor that’s available 24/7, making learning personalized, intuitive, and highly effective.”

The AI technologies enable students better manage their time, strengthen their learning, and fill in knowledge gaps more quickly by converting passive study into interactive involvement.

As a result, the learning environment becomes more impactful, helpful, and adaptive—exactly what candidates need to flourish under duress.
