EaseMyTrip, an online travel technology company, has signed an advertisement agreement with Capri Global Holdings, the franchise owner of the UP Warriorz Women's Premier League team. The agreement is for five years, beginning with the first season of the tournament. The Board of Control for Cricket in India organises the T20 cricket tournament (BCCI). Viacom18, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries, purchased the media rights to the Women's Premier League for Rs.951 crore over a five-year period last month. During 2023-27, the broad caster will pay a per-match fee of Rs.7.09 crore. A lot is riding on the teams as well. Companies paid a record Rs.4,669.99 crore in the league's team auction last month to own the league's five franchises. Adani Group, Reliance, Diageo India, a joint venture between JSW and GMR, and Indian NBFC Capri Global are among the companies involved.
