Separator

EsriEsri India, a leader in location intelligence solutions, has introduced ‘Indo ArcGIS Business Analyst’, a powerful location analytics suite designed to support Indian government organizations in making data-driven, strategic decisions. The new solution aims to enhance government efficiency by providing access to various location-based datasets, such as points of interest, road networks, administrative boundaries, socio-economic and demographic data, and content from ArcGIS Living Atlas. The tool also allows users to integrate their own data, making it a comprehensive resource for spatial analysis.

The launch of Indo ArcGIS Business Analyst is a significant step in enabling government agencies to use location intelligence for optimizing resource distribution and planning in areas such as public safety, economic development, and community assessments. By leveraging data insights on population density, site suitability, and demographics, government departments can target their efforts more effectively and reach more citizens, ensuring that developmental initiatives maximize their impact.

Agendra Kumar, Managing Director of Esri India, highlighted the transformative potential of the solution, stating, “Location intelligence is crucial in enabling government departments to make informed, data-driven decisions. Indo ArcGIS Business Analyst offers insights that can significantly enhance the efficacy of government functions across various sectors, from emergency management and healthcare to workforce development and public safety. This suite empowers stakeholders to better understand spatial and demographic factors, which, in turn, improves the quality of life for citizens”.

The introduction of this solution comes at a time when India’s geospatial landscape is evolving, thanks to enabling policies like the National Geospatial Policy and Geospatial Data Guidelines. These policies have made access to geospatial data easier, promoting the use of location intelligence across government sectors. Esri India’s new solution is expected to capitalize on this increased data availability, helping government organizations carry out precise, location-based analysis that drives more effective decision-making.

With the Indo ArcGIS Business Analyst, Esri India aims to empower government bodies to use advanced geospatial technologies to improve the planning, execution, and success of public initiatives, ultimately benefiting millions of citizens across the country.
