FANUCFANUC India, a top player in Factory Automation, has expanded its operations in Tamil Nadu by launching a new Technology Center in Neelambur, Coimbatore. The facility, inaugurated on July 10, 2024, was officially opened by Yuki Kita, President and CEO of FANUC India.

“For more than thirty years, FANUC has been a trusted partner in India, offering customized Factory Automation solutions. This new Coimbatore Technology Center, following our Chennai facility, demonstrates FANUC’s commitment to advancing Indian manufacturing and boosting local industries to global recognition”, stated Kita.

Tamil Nadu, an important industrial region, is home to about 5,100 companies, with more than 2,000 in Coimbatore alone. The new Technology Center aims to enhance service to this significant industrial community. FANUC India, based in Bengaluru, has supported the manufacturing sector throughout the Indian subcontinent for over three decades, with a focus on Tamil Nadu. The company opened another Technology Center in Sriperumbudur, Chennai, last year. Since 2002, FANUC’s Coimbatore operations have centered on service and sales, and this new expansion further solidifies its dedication to the region’s manufacturing sector.

To celebrate the expansion, FANUC will host an Open House event at the 15,000-square-foot facility. The event will feature FANUC’s advanced automation technologies, including CNC controllers, Laser CNC, Robots, Vertical Machining Centers, Electric Injection Molding machines, and CNC Wire EDM. Attendees will have the chance to explore FANUC’s all-encompassing factory automation solutions, which include system integration and lifetime service support.

The new Coimbatore center will also uphold FANUC’s ‘Service First’ philosophy, providing ongoing support for its products throughout their entire lifecycle. With 22 service locations across India, including the new Coimbatore office, FANUC offers extensive support to customers across five countries in the region.
