FireEye Launches Two New Managed Detection & Response Solutions

CEO Insights Team

FireEye, Inc, a publically traded Cyber Security company, announces its two new managed detection and response (MDR) service offerings namely FireEye Managed Defense Nights & Weekends and FireEye Managed Defense for Endpoint Security.

The security threats still continue to evolve, yet many organizations just rely on reactive security solutions. This is due to the lack of availability of resources. On this account, FireEye Managed Defense strengthens its security operations by delivering proactive analyst-driven MDR services. These services would combine with the world renowned frontline experience and industry-leading technology & intelligence, with the purpose to detect the threats earlier. It also helps in preventing a security incident any further. As a result, FireEye Managed Defense service now offers two new MDR services.

FireEye Managed Defense Nights & Weekends would provide off hours threat protection. Particularly for the organizations that want 24/7 coverage without increasing their existing manpower. This service would be ideal for the enterprises, which operate on 8x5 security operation centers (SOC).
On the other hand, FireEye Managed Defense for Endpoint Security combines the real time detection capabilities of FireEye Endpoint Security, with the one-click containment & alert management, hunting, investigation & response provided by Managed Defense. Thus, it offers a comprehensive Managed Endpoint Detecting and Response (EDR) solution.

Customer needs continue to evolve along with the threat landscape and we now offer service options from a full managed defense program

Marshall Heilman, Senior Vice President, Managed Defense & TORE, FireEye states, “Managed Defense has led the managed detection and response market since 2011 when we saw the need to provide ongoing, proactive detection and investigations following incident response engagements.”

He further adds, “Customer needs continue to evolve along with the threat landscape and we now offer service options from a full managed defense program, including comprehensive network, email, and endpoint protection; seamless endpoint alert management, investigation and response; or supplemental night and weekend coverage. Whatever the customer needs, Managed Defense has the right service and product combination to best secure their organization.”
