Gianluca D'Agostino Joins OnMobile Global as its Independent & Additional Director

Bangalore: OnMobile Global, a global leader in mobile entertainment, appointed Gianluca D’Agostino as its new independent non-executive Additional Director, aiming to strengthen the e-Commerce and technologies for the B2C or B2B/SaaS sector of the company. With Gianluca’s vast experience in telecommunications sector and in the wider Tech World, the management hopes to further propel the operations at OnMobile.

D’Agostino is a passionate angel investor who mainly invests in startups and is the man behind the success of the companies Bango Plc (listed at AIM London) and
Coolgames BV in Amsterdam, where he is also serving on the Board of Directors. He is the Senior Advisor for Neomobile, the company he founded back in 2007, which is now owned by two UK Private Equity funds: Coller Capital and Blue Gem. He has been one of the key consultants in the mobile telco industry that focused on entertainment, content, payment, advising reputed companies like Wind, TIM, Teleunit, Lucent Technologies and more.

D’Agostino is also an evangelist in MobileTech who appears in events worldwide for lectures and speeches. He is also a member of prestigious business networks such as Founders Forum, Italian Angels for Growth, Future Fifty Alumni and Prabodhan, the UK-India leader’s conclave. He holds a Master’s Degree in Electronics Engineer from La Sapienza University.
