
Good Monk Raises $ 2 Million in Funding Round

Bengaluru-based nutrition startup Good Monk has raises $2 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by RPSG Capital Ventures. Existing investors Multiply Ventures, Sharrp Ventures, and ThinKuvate also participated in the round. The company is planning to invest funds in research and development and product innovation aimed at offering more effective nutritional alternatives.
Founded by Amarpreet Singh Anand and Sahiba Kaur, Good Monk sells nutrition mixes designed to blend into food without altering its taste or smell. Its products cater to children, adults, and older consumers, and are positioned as clinically proven solutions to address daily nutrition gaps.
The startup, which secured a deal from Vineeta Singh of Sugar Cosmetics on Season 4 of reality show Shark Tank India, claims to have grown 11 times over the past year.
Good Monk currently retails through its own website and ecommerce platforms such as Amazon and Flipkart.

Abhishek Goenka, managing partner at RPSG Capital Ventures, says that the firm has been actively investing in the health and wellness space, with prior bets including Nutrabay, Plix, and True Elements.
