HCL Takes Over Australian IT Firm DWS for $115.8 Million
Indian multinational IT services and consulting company, HCL announced to acquire DWS Limited, a leading Australian IT, business, and management consulting group for $115.8 million in a bid.

The acquisition is expected to enhance HCL's digital initiatives in Australia and New Zealand while strengthening its client portfolio across key industries. Furthermore, DWS employees more than 700 employees, and its offices Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, and Canberra, delivers business and technology innovation to large clients across a spectrum of verticals.

The DWS Group possesses revenue of $167.9 million for FY20. It provides a wide range of IT services that include digital transformation, application development, and support, program and project management, and consulting.
Currently, HCL employs nearly 1,600 people in major Australian cities that include Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth. The company has consolidated revenue of $9.93 billion with a 150,287- strong workforce globally.
