Hero MotoCorp, CG Motors Collaborate for Assembly Plant in Nepal
Hero MotoCorp announced its plan to establish an assembly facility in Nepal in collaboration with CG Motors, the recently appointed distributor in the region. The facility, situated in Nawalpur district, will boast an annual capacity of 75,000 units, according to the statement from the country's largest two-wheeler manufacturer. Commencing operations in March 2024, Hero MotoCorp entered the Nepalese market in 2014 and has since become a prominent player in the country.
"Benefiting from Chaudhary Group's extensive expertise and diverse business knowledge, we anticipate a significant enhancement to our operations", remarked Sanjay Bhan, Head of Global Business at Hero MotoCorp. Looking ahead, the company aims to reinforce its presence nationwide and introduce a range of exciting new products to captivate the market.
Nirvana Chaudhary, Managing Director of Chaudhary Group, expressed that this collaboration signifies CG Motors' ambitious return to the automotive sector, leveraging the renowned products and services offered by Hero MotoCorp. Hero MotoCorp's motorcycle models such as Super Splendor, Glamour, HF Deluxe, and Xpulse 200, along with scooters like Destini 125, Maestro Edge, and Pleasure+, are currently available in the Nepalese market
