HSBC onboards Hitendra Dave as India CEO

Recently, one of the Global banking major HSBC has announced that Hitendra Dave would be appointed as Chief Executive Officer of HSBC India on acceptance of regulatory endorsement and has been elevated interim Chief Executive Officer effective June 7, 2021.

Hitendra Dave succeeds Surendra Rosha who, after three years, is stirring to Hong Kong as the Co-Chief Executive of HSBC, Asia-Pacific. Hitendra Dave, previously Head of Global Banking & Markets of HSBC India, has approximately 30 years of work occurrence in the Indian Financial Markets, of which the last 20 have been with HSBC.

Hitendra attached the bank in 2001 in the Global Markets business and has risen during the position to his existing responsibility as MD & Head of Global Banking and Markets business, the prevailing provider to HSBC India’s PBT over the years.
