TheThe Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) is launching the 71st batch of its Executive General Management Programme (EGMP) in Pune, catering to working professionals from Pune and surrounding cities. This part-time program, aimed at experienced professionals, spans 10 months and features a mix of in-person and online learning.

Designed to offer flexibility, the EGMP includes sessions at IIM Bangalore, in-person modules in Pune, and live online classes. This hybrid approach allows participants to reduce travel and accommodation costs while still benefiting from IIMB’s renowned faculty and curriculum.

Registration for the program is open until October 7, with classes beginning on November 4. Interested professionals can apply by visiting IIMB’s official website, eep.iimb.ac.in and searching for 'EGMP Pune'.

The program targets mid-career professionals aspiring to move into senior management roles. Applicants are evaluated based on their years and quality of experience, educational background, and diversity factors. A minimum of five years of industry experience and a graduate degree are required for eligibility.

S Parthasarathy, Chief Programme Officer of Executive Education Programmes at IIMB, emphasized the importance of the program for Pune, a city known for its strong manufacturing, IT, GCCs, and armed forces presence. “Professionals in Pune often lack access to top-tier management programs. This initiative will provide them with a world-class education”, he said.

The program marks IIMB's effort to expand its Executive Education offerings, making quality management education accessible to a broader audience in India.
