IIM Sambalpur Launches First NHRDN Chapter

TheThe Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Sambalpur, in partnership with the National HRD Network (NHRDN), has launched a new chapter at its campus on December 6. This initiative aims to foster human resource development and thought leadership in India, providing a platform for 20,000 members, including senior HR professionals, academicians, and students.

The IIM Sambalpur-NHRDN chapter seeks to impact HR leaders significantly and advance human resource practices. Together, they aim to set new benchmarks for the HR industry.

The event featured Prem Singh, President of Group HR at JK Organisation, as the NHRDN host, and Arun Maira, author and thought leader, as the chief guest. Other notable attendees included Dharm Rakshit, HR head at Hero MotoCorp Ltd.

The chapter will offer both theoretical and practical dimensions of Human Resource Development (HRD), promoting a comprehensive understanding of its philosophy, processes, and applications through research and knowledge acquisition.

Mahadeo Jaiswal, Director of IIM Sambalpur, emphasized the collaboration's goal to create a dynamic interface for industry experts and students, facilitating innovation through workshops, seminars, and networking events. The National HRD Network is a prominent organization in HR, significantly shaping practices and policies across various industries, making this collaboration a pivotal step in HR development in India.
