IIM-V, NIT-Mizoram Partner to Boost Managerial Education
A significant development to forge strategic partnership as well as enhance managerial education in India today, IIM-Visakhapatnam signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Institute of Technology (NIT)-Mizoram.
Chief Minister of Mizoram Lalduhoma expressed deep support for the partnership in a meeting held with a delegation from IIM-Visakhapatnam that offers students belonging to engineering as well as technology backgrounds a pathway to management education.
The MoU was signed by Prof M Chandrasekhar, Director, IIM Visakhapatnam at NIT Mizoram by Dr S Sundar, director of NIT-Mizoram. Mizoram Governor Kambhampati Hari Babu was speaking after a meeting with the leadership teams from both institutions.
It means NIT-Mizoram has an association with IIM-V and the hybrid modular program of IIM-V, which is specially designed for Centrally Funded Technical Institutions and institutions of national importance. The association of such institutions is one of the most important steps in expanding opportunities for students in technical institutes who have business acumen as well.
The IIM-V delegation met students and discussed significant aspects of the program.
