India Startup Festival 2023 Kicks off, 30 Investors Step Forward to Invest in Promising Startups

In Bengaluru, the India Startup Festival (ISF) 2023 has begun. The ISF, now in its second year, is a three-day event that runs from August 10 to August 12, and it got off to a good start with 30 investors pledging a total of 125 term sheets. The most promising startups were awarded cash prizes at ISF 2023 and will be mentored by leaders in their respective industries. These startups were chosen from Investor Connect Workshops held in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, the United States, and the United Kingdom.

The event is organised by the India Start-up Foundation, a non-profit organisation dedicated to the growth and advancement of the Indian startup ecosystem. The ISF Exhibition was inaugurated by the esteemed Chief Guest, Sadguru Sri Madhusudan, the Founder of Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence in Karnataka.

J A Chowdary, a pivotal figure in the Indian Tech Industry as Chairperson and Convenor of the India Startup Festival, was also present, as were Dr. Siva Mahesh Tangutooru, Deenanath Harapanahalli, and Achyut Yerragangu, co-founders of the India Startup Foundation, and other dignitaries. Prashanth Prakash, Chairman of Accel, and Vineet Rai, Founder of the Aavishkaar Group, delivered keynote addresses.

Sadguru Sri Madhusudan, Meenakshi Lekhi, Minister of State for External Affairs and Culture, Priyank Kharge, Minister of Information Technology and BioTechnology, Karnataka, and NS Boseraju, Minister of Minor Irrigation, Science & Technology Department of Karnataka are among those attending the event.
