Indian Firms Ink Deals at POWERGEN Expo in the US
Indian companies are actively seeking business and collaboration prospects in the power generation sector, and several have already entered agreements with global entities at the ongoing POWERGEN International Expo in the US. The expo, running from January 23 to 25, is organized by the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) with the support of the Ministry of Commerce and Industries. The event features 18 participants from the power generation, distribution, and utilities sector. D C Manjunath, Consul General of India in Houston, and Sandipan Aich, Senior Executive Officer at ICC, jointly inaugurated the Indian pavilion.
Numerous Indian companies have entered agreements with American counterparts at the expo. According to Sandipan, "IOW Group and Reverso Pumps LLC in the US have teamed up with CBS Technologies from India. Danefoam Technologies from Miami will be procuring firefighting foam and equipment from Integrated Fire Protection Pvt Ltd in Kolkata". Additionally, Steam Equipments from Pune has signed two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with EPC Industries Inc from Texas and Tek-trol Technology Solutions from Chicago.
Consul General Manjunath engaged in discussions with industry leaders, gaining insights into the sustainable future and cutting-edge technology. He expressed delight in visiting the India Pavilion at the POWERGEN International Expo, where prominent players in the power generation sector, both Indian and international, showcased their product lines. Manjunath emphasized the expo's potential for Indian companies to actively participate in the US power generation industry. Sandipan highlighted that the expo provided a platform for international players to discover India's innovative advancements in the power industry, facilitating networking with industry leaders and opening up numerous opportunities for collaboration.
