Intel launches enterprise GenAI software firm with Arun Subramaniyan as CEO

IntelIntel, in collaboration with global investment firm DigitalBridge Group, has revealed the launch of Articul8, a dedicated enterprise-oriented generative AI (GenAI) software entity. Operating independently, Articul8 provides a comprehensive, vertically-tailored, and secure GenAI software platform to meet the needs of enterprise clients. Arun Subramaniyan, previously serving as the vice president and general manager within Intel's Data Center and AI Group, now leads Articul8 as its CEO.

The platform ensures that AI capabilities maintain the security of customer data, training, and inference processes within the enterprise's security perimeter. Additionally, Intel's statement highlights that the platform grants customers the flexibility to choose between cloud, on-premises, or hybrid deployment options. Intel's CEO, Pat Gelsinger, expressed confidence in Articul8's ability to generate concrete business results for both Intel and its wider network of customers and partners, citing the company's profound expertise in AI and high-performance computing (HPC), along with its deployment of enterprise-grade GenAI solutions.

The collaboration between the two entities will persist, maintaining a strategic alignment to explore market opportunities and collectively promote the adoption of GenAI in enterprise settings. DigitalBridge CEO Marc Ganzi emphasized the crucial role of GenAI in advancing digital infrastructure and expressed satisfaction in collaborating with Intel to support the growth of Articul8. Articul8's turnkey GenAI software platform is designed to provide large enterprise customers with enhanced speed, security, and cost-effectiveness, facilitating the operationalization and scalability of AI initiatives.
