Jaipur's Gem & Jewellery Show Welcomes 250 Buyers from 27 Nations
The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) is currently hosting the third edition of the International Gem & Jewellery Show (IGJS) in Jaipur from April 12-14, attracting 250 buyers from 27 countries. Countries represented include Algeria, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Egypt, Greece, Iran, Italy, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Lebanon, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, the UAE, Ukraine, the UK, the US, and Uzbekistan.
Vipul Shah, Chairman of GJEPC, emphasized India's leading position in the global gem and jewellery industry, with annual exports reaching $40 billion and supporting over five million jobs. He highlighted the importance of initiatives like IGJS in fostering international trade relationships and providing opportunities for Indian exporters.
IGJS, held annually in Dubai and Jaipur, serves as a platform to showcase India's finest gems and jewellery to the world. The event, exclusively curated for a global audience, features top manufacturers and exporters from India. It aligns with GJEPC's vision to position India as the preferred destination for high-quality gems and jewellery. Through IGJS and similar initiatives, GJEPC is committed to facilitating robust international trade and strengthening India's presence in the global market.
