Jaykay Forms JV with EOS to bring 3D Metal Design & Printing for India Market
To win the leadership position in the metal printing market segment, Jaykay Enterprises enters into a strategic partnership with the global leaders in 3D Metal Design and printing market, EOS, Germany. The JV, which will be lean and agile structured, will operate through a new subsidiary called NeuMesh Labs Pvt. Ltd. headquartered in Bangalore.
Jaykay Enterprises, which is a part of the 140-year old diversified JK conglomerate, also aims to invest in a print farm where the infrastructure and assets will be owned by Jaykay Enterprises. This CoE will have options for both onsite and offsite capabilities, and will not only support Indian customers but also provide support to the global market.
The JV will support the Indian companies to adapt Metal 3D printing by offering EOS Additive Minds consulting topics in the area of Design for Additive Manufacturing, Part Screening and Selection, Topology optimization and to generate business care.
On announcing the partnership Abhishek Singhania, Additional Director, Jaykay Enterprises, says, “Jaykay and EOS have substantial brand equity in the market. EOS is the global technology leader for industrial 3D printing of metals and polymers, and we are excited to further develop the technology for India. Due to the ever-changing technology and limitation in the size and deposition rate in printing, companies are reluctant to invest in the technology. With EOS as our partner, we hope to overcome these limitations and make India self-reliant”
