
Kumar Mangalam Birla Receives Lata Deenanath Mangeshkar Award

Along with other distinguished honorees in Mumbai, Kumar Mangalam Birla will receive the Lata Deenanath Mangeshkar Award on April 24 for his innovative leadership. At 6:30 p.m., RSS head Mohan Bhagwat will give the awards at Vile Parle East's Deenanath Mangeshkar Auditorium.
The 57-year-old businessman, who is the chairman of the Aditya Birla Group and a Padma Bhushan recipient, is being honored for his crucial contribution to the development of India.
Actors Shraddha Kapoor, Sunil Shetty, Sachin Pilgaonkar, Sonali Kulkarni, and violinist Dr. N Rajam are among the prominent people who will also get the prize this year.
The occasion commemorates Pandit Deenanath Mangeshkar's 83rd Memorial Day.
Sonali Kulkarni will receive recognition for her outstanding body of work that combines theater and film, demonstrating emotional depth and cultural diversity, while Sunil Shetty and Shraddha Kapoor will receive recognition for their significant contributions to Indian cinema.
In 2022, the Lata Deenanath Mangeshkar Puraskar was established in honor of the late, renowned vocalist.
Master Deenanath Mangeshkar Smruti Pratishthan is in charge of organizing it.
Actor Amitabh Bachchan, musician Asha Bhosale, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi are among the previous honorees.
