Laurence Lieberman Joins Pillsbury as Partner in London
Taylor Wessing Senior Partner Laurence Lieberman has joined Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman as a Partner in the cross-border disputes and international arbitration practice at its London office.
Lieberman brings over 25 years of experience to Pillsbury, with a specialism in complex commercial litigation and international arbitration. His practice is heavily sector-focused on areas such as digital health & life sciences, financial services, and technology.
He has successfully represented clients in both court litigation as well as arbitrations under the rules of major institutions, including LCIA, ICC, SIAC, and HKIAC.
Lieberman works extensively with international life sciences companies including in the pharmaceutical and biotech space on their commercial disputes, and frequently for those based in India. He also has extensive experience in commercial disputes for and involving technology companies, including a growing portfolio of cryptocurrency-related disputes, as well as litigation matters for Israeli technology and other clients. Lieberman has also acted for a range of international banks and other financial institutions as well as their senior executives, in connection with high profile, often transatlantic, regulatory investigations.
Prior to his move to Pillsbury, Lieberman was associated with Taylor Wessing for 16 years, where he was a Senior Partner in the Disputes and Investigations team, Head of the Life Sciences Commercial Disputes group and India practice Head.
