Lodha Group Strengthens its Leadership Team, Onboards Ramit Chopra & Veeresh Rao

Lodha Group is focusing on strengthening its leadership team of industrial and logistics business with newer appointments.

Presently, the group has named Ramit Chopra as national head-business development and leasing (industrial and logistics parks) and Veeresh Rao as technical head (industrial and logistics parks). At present, the company has set its focus on the development of Palava Industrial and Logistics Park (PILP).

In his new role, Ramit would be responsible to lead the industrial and logistics vertical growth across cities. Furthermore, he would also be instrumental in strengthening Lodha Group's land acquisition capabilities and building a national & global network. Before joining Lodha, Ramit has served numerous leadership roles across the country in the ompanies such as Embassy Industrial Parks (Warburg Pincus) and Indospace.

Commenting on his appointment, Ramit says, "I look forward to contributing towards the growth and expansion of Lodha Group in the industrial & logistics sector, further strengthening its presence in this space.”

On the other hand, Veeresh would spearhead the complete master plan of PILP, current development of more than 300+ acres, and would monitor the overall land, infrastructure capacity, and planning. Before Lodha, he served as the civil engineer at Allcargo Logistics parks.

While, Veeresh says, "I look forward to being a part of the Group’s growth journey, especially when the company is poised for strategic growth in the industrial and logistics business and contribute towards building Palava Industrial and Logistics Park as the best-in-class Grade A park globally."
