
LTIMindtree Appoints Its COO to Handle New AI Initiatives

Nachiket Deshpande, the current Chief Operating Officer (COO) and a board member of LTIMindtree, has been appointed as the President of Global AI Services, Strategic Deals, and Partnerships. In this new role, Nachiket will spearhead the company’s AI initiatives, including AI advisory, engineering, solutions, and AI-powered platform operations. He will be leading the new business group dedicated to the “New AI economy” from New Jersey.
Nachiket will also oversee the company's global research and technology advancements, mergers and acquisitions, and the development of strategic partnerships, along with pursuing long-term client engagements, evaluating emerging technologies, and collaborating with academic institutions to fuel innovation. He will continue to guide the company by integrating AI with LTIMindtree’s services through the AI Studio and Agentic AI marketplace.
Nachiket brings extensive experience from his professional career spanning nearly over two decades. However, in the new role, he will be pivotal in advancing company's AI capabilities and driving future the growth, as the company aims to take advantage of the rapidly evolving AI landscape.

LTIMindtree has made two additional senior leadership changes along with Deshpande’s appointment effective 1st March 2025.
Ram Khizamboor has been named Chief Delivery Officer, with oversight of global delivery operations and the talent supply chain, while Krishnan Iyer has been appointed Chief Growth Officer, consolidating leadership of all service lines under his purview. Both executives will report directly to Lambu.
This restructuring reflects LTIMindtree’s strategic shift towards AI-driven business models and the need for quick adaptation to the fast-changing market. The relentless effort on the AI services is in place with the ambitious goal of reaching $10 billion in revenue by 2032 from existing $4 billion.
