The non-banking finance firm, Mahindra Finance names Amit Raje as a Whole-time Director designated as Chief Operating officer for Digital Finance business. The company is focused on rural and semi-urban markets.

Amit would take charge from April 1, and his tenure would last for about five years. Presently, Amit is serving as the Executive Vice-President for partnerships and alliances of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, the parent company and he is responsible for heading the mergers and acquisitions (M&As) and investors relations at the Mahindra Group.

Before joining the Mahindra Group, Amit served as the Managing Director in principal investing area of Goldman Sachs. He has cumulative experience of more than 20 years in corporate finance, M&A’s and private equity. Amit is a post-graduate from Mumbai University and holds an MBA with a specialisation in finance and private equity from the London Business School.
