Melissa Hathaway Joins Commvault as the New Strategic Advisor, Chair of Cyber Resilience Board

imgCommvault, the go-to source for hybrid cloud data protection and cybersecurity solutions, is hiring Melissa Hathaway to be its strategic advisor and chair of its new Cyber Resilience Board.

Hathaway brings a wealth of policy, technical, and boardroom knowledge to Commvault, having worked with Fortune 500 companies on cyber, enterprise risk, and technology assessments.

“I’m delighted to serve as a strategic advisor to Commvault and work with members of the Cyber Resilience Council,” Hathaway said.

She is expected to be advising clients on new security trends and threats, as well as highlighting best practices in cyber resilience, which can help shape product development, identify partnership opportunities, and shape business strategies.

Hathaway has a history of working with government leaders, having served as the director of the Cyber Security Policy Review under President Barack Obama and as the head of the comprehensive National Cybersecurity Initiative under President George W.

“Her deep expertise, coupled with our mission, will undoubtedly help Commvault continue to pave the way for a safer, more resilient digital future”, added Mirchandani.

She has also worked  considerably with  transnational institutions like NATO, the International Telecommunications Union, the Organization of American States, and the World Bank, and is combined with distinguished institutions, including Harvard Kennedy School’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, Canada’s School of Public Service, and Toronto Metropolitan University. 

At Commvault, she's poised to steer the Cyber Resilience Council towards making meaningful and  continuing impacts.
