MG Motor and Adani TotalEnergies Join Forces to Boost EV Ecosystem in India

Adani TotalEnergies E-Mobility Limited (ATEL), a subsidiary of Adani Total Gas Limited (ATGL), has entered a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MG Motor India to bolster the electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure in India. This collaboration aims to enhance charging solutions and provide value-added services to MG's EV customers across the nation. The partnership underscores a commitment to support India's growing EV ecosystem by establishing a reliable and effective charging infrastructure.

Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Adani TotalEnergies E-Mobility Limited (ATEL) will deploy CC2 60 kW DC chargers at forthcoming MG dealerships, strengthening the charging network and improving customer accessibility. This partnership will offer an all-inclusive solution comprising supply, installation, commissioning, operations, and maintenance of charging infrastructure. Furthermore, a digital platform will be introduced to streamline the customer journey, encompassing discovery, user verification, charging, and billing settlement via a dedicated mobile application.

In this strategic collaboration, both entities will investigate opportunities to integrate public charging stations across platforms, utilizing advanced application programming interfaces (APIs) to improve network visibility and accessibility. This integration aims to provide enhanced access and visibility to the PCS Network, ensuring a seamless experience across the integrated network owned and operated by both parties.

Through this collaboration, customer experience will be elevated with RFID solutions accessible to MG users at key locations within ATEL's public charging network, notably at sites like airports. ATEL will provide RFID cards to MG through bulk purchase agreements, offering preferential discount packages for MG users.
