Mutual Funds Witness Inflow of Rs.7,625 Crores, says AMFI
In accordance with data from the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI), equity mutual funds saw a net inflow of 7,625.96 crore in July 2023, compared to an inflow of 8,637 crore in June 2023. According to AMFI data, ETFs experienced an outflow of 353 crores in July, compared to an inflow of 3,402 crores in June.
The small-cap category received the most inflows, totaling 4,171.44 crore, followed by the multi-cap category, which received 2,500.47 crore. Large-cap funds, on the other hand, saw the highest outflow of 1,880 crore, followed by the focused funds category, which saw an outflow of 1,066.72 crore.
In July, liquid funds received the highest inflow of 51,938.41 crore, while debt funds received 61,440.08 crore.
Amid a stock market rally, equity mutual funds attracted Rs 8,637 crore in June, the highest net inflow in three months. This was significantly higher than the 3,240 crore inflow seen in May and the 6,480 crore inflow seen in April, according to Amfi data. Last month, SIP inflows totaled 14,734 crore. Aside from equities, hybrid schemes received $4,611 crore in inflows, with arbitrage funds receiving $3,366 crore.
