Nestle's kiosk business model to Aid Emerging Entrepreneurs in India
The Indian Subsidiary of Swiss multinational company, Nestle India has introduced a kiosk business model. This platform has been launched with the intension to support the entrepreneurs.
The company believes that the platform being part of Nestle's global youth initiative 'Nestle Needs Youth' would aid in nurturing entrepreneurs and provide various opportunities for them to grow through the kiosk business model. Furthermore, the brand has stated that the program would help the youth of the country to cope with these unprecedented times.
Suresh Narayanan, Chairman & Managing Director, Nestlé India states, "Through this initiative, we want to encourage the youth of the country to believe in their entrepreneurial dreams."
The kiosks models that are to run on a youth-facing, franchise-operated business model is expected to make way for various entrepreneurial opportunities. With the expectation to excel, these kiosks would be operated by franchisees under the banner Nescafe, KitKat, and Maggi and these spots would be addressed as NESCAFE Corner, KitKat Break Zone, and MAGGI Hotspot respectively.
Commenting on the initiative, Nestlé India says, "With a high emphasis on creating a conducive working environment and a simple financial module, I am certain that this initiative will prove to be a great platform for youth to prove their caliber, start and run their own business successfully, create more job opportunities and be a part of the growing franchise family of ONE Nestlé."
The brand further states, “Nestlé India reaffirms its commitment towards the youth of the country with the announcement of ‘Entrepreneurship for YOUth’ initiative."
Nestle India is a subsidiary of Swiss FMCG major, Nestle. The brand is headquartered in Gurgaon, Haryana in India. The company produces renowned products including food, beverages, chocolate, and confectioneries. The company was incorporated on 28 March 1959 and has about eight production facilities in various locations across India.
