Nextiva is ramping up its operations in India by launching a 35,000-square-foot innovation center in Bengaluru. This is believed to be the company’s largest facility outside the US, representing India’s growing importance in Nextiva’s global product and technology roadmap.

The expansion follows a year of rapid growth for the company’s operations in India, during which it more than doubled its local headcount to 300 employees. The firm now plans to hire more than 150 additional employees in India as it accelerates development efforts for its next generation of artificial intelligence (AI)-driven products.

Additionally, Nextiva is reported to have fully integrated Simplify360, an AI-powered customer experience platform it acquired in 2023, into its operations. It helps businesses manage customer interactions across various channels like social media, email, live chat, and messaging apps. The platform offers features such as AI chatbots, social listening, review management, and analytics to enhance customer engagement and streamline support processes. This integration is expected to enhance its offerings in social media, reputation management, live chat, and helpdesk CRM.
