India's top javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra has joined the ranks of Optimum Nutrition, a brand owned by international sports nutrition company Glanbia Performance Nutrition, as a brand ambassador. The endorsement agreement has a one-year expiration date with the possibility of an extension. Chopra now endorses over 20 brands, including Tata AIA Life Insurance, Gillette, and Country Delight, among others. This new contract expands her roster of endorsements.

The annual endorsement fee for JSW Sports-managed Chopra is Rs 4 crore. Chopra's brand was worth $26.5 million, per Kroll's Celebrity Brand Valuation Report. Neeraj's official sports nutrition partner in the association, Optimum Nutrition, will support him as he prepares to break records in the 2024 Olympic Games.

The CMD of Glanbia Performance Nutrition India, Satyavrat Pendharkar, stated that Optimum Nutrition and Neeraj's brand values are a perfect match. "Through Neeraj, we want to achieve our broader vision to inspire people to achieve their own performance and fitness goals".

Neeraj, he continued, will assist the company in expanding its consumer base and reach a larger audience nationwide. "Chopra will help us build emotional connections with fans since he is using our products", Pendharkar stated. "I am delighted to join forces with Optimum Nutrition, a brand that shares my passion for excellence and community welfare", Chopra said in a statement. I have a great partner in Optimum Nutrition who will enable me to push myself to new heights and win honours for the country.

In addition to Chopra, the company has signed wrestler Bajrang Punia and cricketer Rishabh Pant as brand ambassadors. It had previously started a campaign to emphasise its collaboration with three female athletes: Priya Punia, Afshan Ashiq, and Sangeeta Phogat. The men's and women's teams of the Delhi Capitals were also affiliated with the firm.
