India’s first listed, national-level, electronic exchange - Multi Commodity Exchange of India Pvt ltd (MCX), appoints PS Reddy as Managing Director & CEO. He also takes charge as a Director on the Board.

His appointment has been approved by Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) for the period of five years, with effect from May 10, 2019.

Previously Reddy had worked with BSE Ltd. for over eighteen years, leading various departments such as Listing, Surveillance, Inspection, Investor Service and HRD among others. He was also associated with Central Depository Services Ltd. (CDSL) and its subsidiaries for over twelve years in various capabilities, with MD & CEO being his last position held.

Reddy Holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from the University of Hyderabad and has over 30 years of rich experience in diverse roles with the host of senior level positions. He has been a host of senior level positions to his credit in clearing Financial and securities market, exchange and its ecosystem business.
