Puneet Chhatwal Re-elected as Chairman of FAITH for 2024-2026 Term
During the elections for the office bearers of FAITH (Federation of Associations in Indian Tourism and Hospitality) for the 2024-2026 term, Puneet Chhatwal, MD & CEO of IHCL, was re-elected as Chairman. The other elected officebearers are Ajeet Bajaj and Ajay Prakash as Vice Chairmen, Rajiv Mehra as General Secretary, and Kanwarjit Singh Sawhney as Treasurer. The election results, declared by returning officer Homa Mistry, saw all candidates elected unopposed. The elections took place at the Ginger Hotel in Chanakyapuri, New Delhi.
Speaking post the election, General Secretary Rajiv Mehra said, “On behalf of all the elected Office Bearers, assure to work cohesively for the benefit of the tourism and hospitality industry and fulfill the dreams of Hthe on’ble Prime Minister and achieve the targets set by the Hon’ble Prime Minister. Tourism and Hospitality have huge potential in terms of employment generation and contributing to the economy of the country and we would endeavor to fulfill this potential”.
FAITH is the Policy Federation of 10 National Associations in India representing the entire Tourism and Hospitality Industry of the country which includes ADTOI, ATOAI, FHRAI, HAI, IATO, ICPB, IHHA, ITTA, TAAI, TAFI) and Cause Partner – AIRDA.
The federation was established to create a unified industry voice to drive the growth of India's tourism, travel, and hospitality sectors, and to achieve its objectives.
