In a significant move forward, AAFT proudly welcomes Mrs. Sunita Kohli as the Industry Dean of its School of Interior Design. Recognized for her pioneering work in architectural restoration and interior design, Mrs. Kohli brings extensive experience and a legacy of excellence to the institution.

Mrs. Kohli brings decades of experience and a remarkable legacy of accomplishments, including the esteemed Padma Shri award. Renowned for her visionary leadership, she has been instrumental in restoring some of India’s most iconic public buildings, such as the Rashtrapati Bhavan and the old Parliament House. Her expertise extends beyond India, with notable projects including the Parliament Buildings of Bhutan and luxury hotels and hotel boats along the Nile in Egypt.

Mrs. Kohli will play a key role in developing a comprehensive curriculum that blends theoretical learning with practical application. Drawing on her industry expertise, she will ensure students are equipped with the skills and knowledge required to thrive in the ever-evolving field of interior design. Furthermore, she will cultivate valuable industry partnerships to create a strong support network for students.
