Robo Sense and Horizon Robotics teams up for ADAS development
China’s edge AI developer, Horizon Robotics, has teamed up into a strategic cooperation with China’s LiDAR supplier, RoboSense, to take forward the development of intelligent transportation and autonomous driving. It is built on each’s technical strength and mass-production experience and the partnership will carry out co-development in various segments, including ADAS, autonomous driving, robots, and intelligent traffic infrastructure.
Horizon Robotics will provide RoboSense with intelligent vehicle solutions based on “chip+ algorithm+ AI development tool”, fulfilling the latter’s diverse demands for intelligent connected vehicles. Moreover, based on RoboSense’s second-generation solid-state LiDAR, the RS-LiDAR-M1, and Horizon Robotics’ Journey 3 and Journey 5 automotive chips, the two parties will co-develop and adapt mass-producible ADAS integrated perception solution.
Thus both of them in this partnership aim to build integrated perception solutions under more applicable scenarios, furthering China’s intelligent connected transportation development.
RoboSense is currently the only company globally that has been noticed wit mass-production delivery of intelligent solid-state LiDARs used on new vehicles.
GAC AION, WM Motor, Geely’s ZEEKR, Lotus, Inceptio Technology, and Zhito Technology are clients of the company.
