Rohini Venkateswaran Appointed Sales Head at Procter & Gamble India

Rohini Venkateswaran has been appointed as the Sales Head at Procter & Gamble India, with the position set to take effect on January 1, 2025. She will succeed Sai Ramana Ponugoti in this role.

Venkateswaran currently serves as the Vice President & Country manager Procter & Gamble Gulf - East Gulf & Sales Strategy Gulf. In her current role, Rohini is responsible for 5 countries in Gulf- Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain and Qatar as General manager and UAE as overall sales strategy leader.

“Pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosures Requirement) Regulations, 2015, we hereby inform you that Sairamana Ponugoti shall cease to be Sales Head of the Company, effective closure of business hours on December 31, 2024, pursuant to his resignation from P&G”, the stock exchange filing read.

“Further, effective January 1, 2025, Ms. Rohini Venkateswaran, will be appointed as the Sales Head of the Company”, the document read further.

Rohini Venkateswaran, an alumnus of SP Jain Institute of Management, Mumbai, joined Procter & Gamble India in 2005, starting in Sales. She has gained extensive experience in distributor management, modern trade, and sales strategy and planning across various regions, including Dubai and the USA. Rohini has collaborated with global customers and channels, including e-commerce, and has also held the role of Commercial Leader for Olay and Old Spice in India, further expanding her diverse expertise.
