RVNL's order book Crosses Rs 65,000 Crore, Plans to add Foreign Deals

RVNL announced that its order book has reached Rs 65,000 crore, with railway projects comprising 50 percent of the total. The company also disclosed plans to explore new project opportunities in offshore markets such as Central Asia, the UAE and Western Asia during an investors' call. "We have got an order book of around Rs 65,000 crore, which roughly constitutes 50 percent from the nomination, that is the typical railway projects and 50 percent from the market. In time to come, we should maintain an order book of around Rs 75,000 crore," top management officials said.

The Vande Bharat trains accounted for approximately Rs 9,000 crore of the overall order book, while around Rs 7,000 crore was allocated to various metro projects. Additionally, RVNL secured contracts for electrification, transmission lines, and other ventures. The company expressed its intention to expand into different sectors and pursue numerous foreign projects. Regarding expansion efforts in international markets, the management stated that the company has recently engaged in a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model project in Botswana and has been shortlisted for participation. Furthermore, offices are being established in several neighboring foreign countries.
