ServiceNow Appoints Ganesh Lakshminarayanan as MD for India and SAARC
American software firm ServiceNow has appointed Ganesh Lakshminarayanan as Managing Director (MD) and Group Vice President (GVP) for its India and SAARC business, effective January 6, 2025. Operating from Bengaluru, Lakshminarayanan will play a crucial role in enhancing ServiceNow's presence in the APAC region, as stated by the company.
With a wealth of experience, Lakshminarayanan previously served as the CEO of Airtel's domestic B2B operations and held the position of President and Managing Director at Dell India. He will report directly to Detlef Krause, President of ServiceNow APAC.
“India remains a key priority for ServiceNow, and Ganesh's expertise and leadership will further enhance our ability to deliver value to our customers in this dynamic market”, Krause remarked.
India accounts for over 20% of ServiceNow's global workforce, with more than 40% of the company's global product engineering being conducted in the country. The India Technology and Business Centre located in Hyderabad stands as ServiceNow's largest facility outside the United States, underscoring the strategic importance of the region to the company's operations.
