Network18 has appointed Shobit Arora as the new National Head of Connected TV for its flagship channels, including CNN-News18, CNBC-TV18, and CNBC Awaaz. With over 14 years of experience in both media and technology, Arora brings a wealth of expertise in the connected TV sector.

Before joining Network18, Arora worked as the Deputy General Manager for Connected TV at India Today. He has held major positions in organizations such as Oracle and BTVI across his career, where he worked on digital transformation and enhancing audience engagement strategies.

Arora began his professional journey in 2008 with Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd. (The Times Group) as an Assistant Manager, where he spent nine years honing his skills in the media and advertising domains.

In his new role at Network18, Arora will spearhead the Connected TV strategy across the network’s premier news channels, focusing on enhancing viewer experiences and driving growth in the rapidly evolving digital media landscape.
