Soeren Lorenzen has been named Chief Growth Officer for Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa (APMEA) by Wipro.

"Soeren will oversee the sales, marketing, and partnerships teams at APMEA." He will also collaborate closely with Wipro's Growth Office in bringing the best of the company's integrated capabilities and global scale to customers in the region," Wipro said in a statement Thursday.

The executive brings over 20 years of experience in strategic account management, large deal pursuits, and sales excellence to Wipro.

He previously held senior positions at Hewlett Packard (HP), Injazat, and Nilfisk.

"With his international experience, particularly in sales and large deal management, as well as partnership management, I am confident that Soeren will effectively contribute to realising our growth ambitions across APMEA," Anis Chenchah, Wipro's Chief Executive Officer-APMEA, said.
