
Suzlon Secures Wind Energy Order for 100.8 MW from Sunsure Energy

Suzlon, a developer of renewable energy solutions, has secured a wind energy order for 100.8 MW from Sunsure Energy.
Suzlon stated that as part of this agreement, it will provide 48 cutting-edge S120 wind turbine generators (WTGs) with Hybrid Lattice Towers (HLT), each with a 2.1 MW capacity rating.
Following the order win, shares of the group's subsidiary Suzlon Energy increased 2.47 percent to reach a high of Rs 55.68.
The stock was last seen at Rs 55.16, up 1.51 percent. On a year-to-date (YTD) basis, it has declined 15.58 percent at this pricing.
This project, which would mark their entry into wind energy, is scheduled to be set up in the Jath area of Maharashtra.
Suzlon will provide 48 cutting-edge S120 wind turbine generators (WTGs) with Hybrid Lattice Towers (HLT) under this arrangement; each WTG has a 2.1 MW capacity rating.
In addition to supplying the wind turbines, it will supervise the installation of the equipment, carry out the project, including erection and commissioning, and offer full operations and maintenance services after commissioning.
This project would help Sunsure Energy's objective of providing Maharashtra consumers with 24/7 power and expand its portfolio of renewable energy sources.
