Tata Consumer Products Appoints Partha Biswas as President - RTD
Tata Consumer Products Ltd (TCPL) announced appointments that include the joining of Partha Biswas as the President of Ready-to-Drink (RTD) business. He brings with him a huge amount of experience. He will be joining from Viacom 18, erstwhile executive vice president and head of business for Hindi general entertainment channels.
With over 17 years of leadership experience in the FMCG and Telecom sector, he has run key positions in ACT Fibernet and Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB). He has contributed to some key initiatives in Trade Marketing and Category Development across nine brand teams in HCCB and operationally led teams in 13 units. Significant exposure to the RTD market includes leading operations at HCCB in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
There, Biswas helped in framing commercial and channel strategies, managing brand investments and restructuring the respective distribution channels. He could successfully pioneer the Pre-Sell and Tele Sell models for Coca-Cola in India. That paved the way for a lot of innovation into the distribution system of the company.
Biswas held an MBA in Marketing and Operations from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi, and completed in 2022 the prestigious Sloan Fellow Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). His diverse expertise and innovative approach are likely to steer growth and change within TCPL's RTD business.
