Dowd as MCRA’s new Vice President of Reimbursement, Health Economics and Market Access.

With a comprehensive understanding of the US healthcare delivery and payment systems, healthcare reform, public and private payer reimbursement mechanism and more, Tonya focused her career on developing and executing systematic strategies that integrate health economics, outcomes research across all stages of the technology cycle. Prior to MCRA, Tonya was the Global Director at Johnson & Johnson, and the mastermind behind the product planning with the R&D, global strategic marketing, clinical and global regional teams to ensure a competitive advantage and market access of products. Tonya with a rich experience of 25 years in reimbursement and market access experience has dealt with healthcare companies such as Acclarent, Affymetrix, Allergan, Biosense Webster, Cerenovus, Codman, Enteromedics, Ethicon Endo-Surgery, Glaukos and more. She also holds a BA in Health Policy from the University of Michigan and a Masters in Public Health from the University of California Los Angeles.
