Voltech Group Expands into Nuclear Sector
The Rs 1,000 crore Voltech Group, specializing in testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems, is poised for significant expansion into the nuclear sector. Managing Director M. Umapathi announced plans to bolster their presence in nuclear energy, particularly in India's Kudankulam nuclear power plant in Tamil Nadu.
Attending the ATOMEXPO 2024 in Sochi, Russia, Umapathi disclosed intentions to engage with Rosatom, Russia's nuclear power conglomerate, for potential collaborations in various countries.
With a robust workforce of approximately 3,500 engineers, spanning 40 nations, including 2,000 in India, Voltech Group boasts a distinctive advantage in the industry. Umapathi highlighted this extensive engineering workforce as a unique selling point, underscoring the company's prowess in the field.
Moreover, Voltech Group has made inroads into the United States, focusing on testing and commissioning electrical systems in data centers. Additionally, Umapathi revealed plans for the launch of three new electrical products, further diversifying the company's offerings and market presence.
