Why is a medical trampoline good for your health?
My favorite form of movement is jumping on a mini trampoline, more precisely a medical trampoline or therapy trampoline. I can do it several times a day while listening to music on my iPod or watching TV. My special mini trampoline is also called the “medical trampoline” because it helps prevent and recover. However, there are also differences here, not every mini trampoline is a medical trampoline; the trampoline for backyard is also different.
A typical medical trampoline is approximately 40 ″ in diameter and 9 ″ high. Instead of steel springs, it has special rubber ropes on the sides, is safe, easy to use and effective. Research has been carried out and some scientists have concluded that exercising on a trampoline is arguably the most effective form of exercise for activating lymph flow. In an experiment in 1980, NASA also found that jumping on a trampoline is more effective than walking.
Most importantly, it's fun so we'll stick with it! Have you ever noticed how children naturally enjoy jumping on their beds? Just as the astronauts experience weightlessness, your body is in a weightless state at the top of the jump.
In contrast to jogging on a hard surface, which is sometimes extremely stressful for the joints such as ankles and knees, the joints and cells in the body equally recover when jumping on the trampoline. Plus, there are no cars, dogs, and bad weather to worry about.
Practicing on the mini trampoline is good for the entire lymphatic system
The human body needs movement. The lymphatic system cleanses every cell, carries the nutrients into the cell and removes waste products from it. In contrast to the blood that is pumped through you from the heart, the lymph is completely dependent on physical movement.
Without adequate exercise, cells stew in their own waste products and starve for nutrients, a situation that helps promote arthritis, cancer and other degenerative diseases, as well as premature aging. Vigorous exercise increases lymph flow by 15 to 30 times.
The lymph fluid moves through channels like "ships" filled with one-way valves so that the lymph always moves in the same direction.
The main lymph vessels run up through the legs, arms, and upper body. This is why the vertical up and down movement, such as jumping, is so effective for lymph.
Restrictive clothing impairs the flow of blood and lymph. Wearing a bra to keep the breasts from sagging weakens muscles and connective tissue. Not wearing a bra while walking or moving will help pump lymphatic fluid through the breast tissue.
This significantly reduces the risk of developing breast cancer!
Jumping is beneficial for detoxification and the immune system
The jumping movement stimulates and moves all internal organs
Cerebrospinal fluid, and is good for the intestines. Many immune cells, such as T lymphocytes and macrophages, are strengthened by exercise. These cells contain molecules that are identical to those in muscle tissue.
All cells in the body become stronger in response to the increased "G-Force" during rebound, and the cellular result in the immune cells is that they are up to 5 times more active. These immune cells are important against viruses, bacteria and also cancer cells, so it is especially important that they are active. A medical trampoline will help you to strengthen your immune system!
A medical trampoline and safety
Everyone should start with gentle "health jumps," which means keeping your feet in contact with the mat as your body moves up and down. The “health jumps” are sufficient to get all the benefits of jumping while gently strengthening the entire body.
The “health jumps” can be carried out while you are talking on the phone, listening to music on your iPod or watching TV. But I recommend that you do that without shoes and stockings so that you don't slip away.
Adults can start with 5 minutes and gradually increase as their fitness level improves. Seniors can start with 2 minutes several times a day, with at least 30 minutes’ rest between sessions. It is necessary that older people only increase slowly in order to give the connective tissue time to strengthen slowly and so that the organs are not overloaded.
This prevents the possibility of damaging the organs. Therefore, the elderly is only gradually increasing their time. But it always depends on the current state of each individual, if you feel good about it, the time can be increased.
Until then, seniors who are not so active will find that gently jumping on a mini trampoline gives them new strength and joie de vivre. Hyperactive children are reported to be much calmer after a few days of practice. Jumping is for everyone and you can use a medical trampoline whenever you have a few minutes off during the day.
A medical trampoline and its benefits for the body
JUMPING AFFECTS THE BODY IN MANY WAYS
Jumping is an exercise that reduces your body fat - which is very useful for preventing diabetes and a variety of other diseases, it provides an aerobic effect on your heart, and it gives your body energy when it is tired. I jump on my mini trampoline when I need energy, not just when I have energy!
You can easily jump on your therapy mini trampoline in your living room, in the office or in the garden. You can also take it with you when traveling, because there are already portable trampolines so you can use it in your hotel room. A medical trampoline is a very versatile training device.
DAILY SWINGING / JUMPING OFFERS NUMEROUS SPECIFIC BENEFITS FOR YOUR HEALTH:
- Increases the capacity of breathing.
- More oxygen is transported into the tissue.
- Helps against depression.
- Helps normalize your blood pressure.
- Can protect against cardiovascular disease.
- Increases the activity of the bone marrow in producing red blood cells.
- Supports lymphatic circulation and blood flow in the veins of the circulatory system.
- Lowers high cholesterol and triglyceride levels.
- Stimulates the metabolism, which reduces the likelihood of obesity.
- Strengthens the glandular system, especially the thyroid.
- Improves coordination throughout the body.
- Prevents neck and back pain, headaches and other aches and pains caused by a lack of exercise.
- Improves digestion and the elimination process.
- Allows relaxation and prevents sleep disorders.
- Improves mental performance.
- Relieves fatigue and menstrual cramps in women.
- Minimizes the number of colds, allergies, indigestion and stomach problems.
- Helps to slow down the aging process.
People who practice a therapy trampoline for a minimum of 10 minutes at a time are able to work longer hours, as well as helping them feel more relaxed.
If you have a resting heart rate of less than 60 beats per minute, do not smoke,
Do not complain of chest pain, eat a healthy diet, and invest 40 minutes or more daily, at least 5 days / week in your mini trampoline exercises, it is theoretically unlikely that you will ever develop a heart problem. Every day, jumping on a trampoline for at least 40 minutes helps you to reach your target heart rate zone.
DOES A MEDICAL TRAMPOLINE HAVE A DETOXIFYING EFFECT ON THE BODY?
The lymphatic system is the body's metabolic garbage can. It rids you of toxins, cancer cells, nitrogenous waste, fat, infectious viruses, heavy metals and other garbage. The movement performed by jumping helps the lymphatic system to flow well and thus to remove all toxins.
Jumping is a lymphatic exercise. The same effect for the lymph is achieved by jumping rope, but where strong vibrations act on the ankles, knees and back, which can lead to wear and tear more quickly.
SWING AND THE STABILIZING EFFECT ON THE NERVOUS SYSTEM
Using a medical trampoline to swing - along with yoga and breathing exercises - is an excellent way to relieve stress. It can put the jumping person in a trance-like state and is wonderfully relaxing.
Swinging not only stabilizes the nervous system during the training session but also helps to maintain a relaxed state afterwards. The result is that you become more resistant to physical and emotional stress. This helps prevent psychosomatic illnesses and depression.
Jumping and the benefits for children
Children instinctively enjoy jumping around. They love the mini trampoline as a fish loves the water.
One of the best things you can do is buy your child a mini trampoline because it doesn't just sit around, it just moves around.
How many children are already obese or have diabetes at a young age?
Jumping on a mini trampoline is a tool and we can use it to do something directly about this national epidemic of diabetes and childhood obesity.
Therefore, I hope that more people will recognize the advantages of this wonderful training device and at least dare to try out a medical trampoline.
