YamahaYamaha Motor India has officially appointed Itaru Otani as the new Chairman of Yamaha Motor India Group, marking a significant step in the company’s efforts to strengthen its leadership position in the Indian market.

With over three decades of experience at Yamaha Motor Company, Otani has held key leadership roles in various global markets, including Australia, Brazil, and Japan. His extensive expertise in Sales, Marketing, and Corporate Strategy has been crucial in advancing Yamaha’s Motorcycle Business Operations and maintaining the brand’s competitive edge internationally.

Prior to his new role, Otani served as Chief General Manager, where he oversaw Land Mobility Business Operations from Japan. His deep industry knowledge and experience are expected to be essential in guiding Yamaha Motor India towards sustainable growth and innovation.

In his new position, Otani plans to leverage his international experience to further strengthen Yamaha's presence in India, enhance customer engagement, and drive strategic initiatives. His appointment is anticipated to bolster the company's efforts in capturing a larger share of the growing Indian motorcycle market.
