YottaYotta Data Services, a leading digital transformation provider, has partnered with Nasscom AI and Telangana AI Mission to launch the Shambho Accelerator Programme, aimed at fostering growth in cloud and artificial intelligence (AI) startups. The programme was unveiled and promises to provide startups with cutting-edge AI and cloud infrastructure, along with mentorship and technical support.

The Shambho Accelerator Programme seeks to drive innovation in the Indian startup ecosystem by encouraging the development of advanced solutions in cloud computing, AI, data science, and high-performance computing (HPC). Startups identified through Nasscom's GenAI Foundry will gain access to Shakti Cloud, India’s fastest AI-HPC supercomputer, with credits of up to $200,000.

Sunil Gupta, Co-Founder and CEO of Yotta Data Services, emphasized the pivotal role of the tech-startup ecosystem in India’s growth. “Our objective is to democratise supercomputing and hyperscale cloud access for Indian enterprises and startups, filling the gap with our cloud platforms. This collaboration with Nasscom reaffirms our commitment to catalysing India's AI journey towards self-reliance in innovation”, said Gupta.

In addition to infrastructure access, the accelerator programme will offer regular, customized mentorship sessions and training to help startups navigate their growth stages. Participants will also benefit from business opportunities through networking events aimed at expanding their market reach.

Sangeeta Gupta, Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer at Nasscom, highlighted the impact of such initiatives on India’s AI landscape. “Accelerator programmes like Shambho will not only augment India’s AI innovation but also encourage startups to create cutting-edge solutions in Cloud, AI, data science, and HPC”, she said.

India’s tech-startup sector is rapidly expanding, with over 70% of startups leveraging advanced technologies such as AI, blockchain, IoT, and robotics to address key industrial and societal challenges.
