Yotta, Nvidia Introduce Six New AI Services for Indian Firms
Yotta Data Services announced a collaboration with global tech giant Nvidia to bring six advanced artificial intelligence (AI) platform services under its 'Shakti Cloud' platform to accelerate AI adoption in India. The move was announced at the first edition of the Nvidia AI Summit in Mumbai. The state-of-the-art AI capabilities, available at competitive rates, will also be made accessible to businesses, researchers, and innovators.
The new AI services will be delivered under a token-based system and a GPU seconds model to make AI more accessible across industries. According to Yotta's Co-Founder, CEO, and MD, Sunil Gupta, their AI solutions, built on Nvidia's technology, look towards addressing the barriers, thus enabling organizations to accelerate speed, flexibility, and scalability in AI development.
The 'Shakti Cloud' platform has been designed with an orchestration layer and a self-service portal, which integrate Nvidia's AI Enterprise software with open-source tools and libraries. Indian AI innovators now have access to the powerful GPUs of Nvidia with a robust local solution that will enable them to pursue AI initiatives without relying on global infrastructure.
Speaking about the democratization of AI through the coming together of Nvidia and Yotta where cutting-edge technology meets cloud infrastructure to accelerate fast development and deployment of AI solutions, Vice President, Enterprise and Cloud, at Nvidia said that Yotta is now operating its cloud regions across hyperscale data centre parks in Panvel, Navi Mumbai and Greater Noida, Delhi NCR. Besides, MeitY empaneled its homegrown hyperscale cloud platform 'Yntraa' as well, supporting large-scale government projects.
Darshan Hiranandani, Co-Founder and Chairman at Yotta, while speaking of Shakti Cloud, said that it is putting India in the driver's seat for driving its AI future by unlocking cost-effective tools and computing power, reconfirming its hold as a genuine global tech leader.
