An aspiring entrepreneur ever since his childhood, Vinod took his chance and built his company from scratch, Corporate Infotech Pvt Ltd (CIPL) a one stop technology destination for customers across the verticals. Having had a humble beginning in 2007, CIPL has come a long way from where it began, becoming a more than 1300 people organization with its operations spread all across India. CIPL became a prominent name in the IT segment with in a short span of time, and today the company has been able to build a broad and robust portfolio of products & services. The company offers everything from Digital Solutions & Software Services to IT Facility Management Services, Data Centre Infrastructure Solutions &Managed Services, Data Science & Analytics, Network & Security Solutions, IT Infrastructure Consulting Services, IP Surveillance and VC Solutions, Multi Vendor Support, Storage & Hyper Converged (HCI) Solutions, Office Automation & Power Conditioning Solutions, and IoT, AI, Virtualization & Cloud Solutions.
In the process, being an advocate of innovation, Vinod has grown into the shoes of an industry leader by setting new benchmarks in quality,customer experience, and problem solving with cutting edge technologies. recently granted my request to have an exclusive interview with us and he walked us through his professional journey, CIPL's story, and its latest endeavors. Below is the excerpt of the interview with him.
When did it all begin? What inspired you to start this venture in the populous Information Technology domain and what drives you today?
Since a very young age, I aspired to be doing some thing that would give me personal satisfaction. After acquiring my engineering degree, I initially worked with a few companies that were big brands in the IT sector. It was a great learning curve and it was during this corporate phase in my career I gained the initial experience in Sales and related functions.
However,the dream of becoming an entre preneur came true in the year 2007 when I incorporated Corporate Infotech Pvt Ltd with a small capital and limited manpower. After investing our best efforts and thoughts towards achieving perfection throughout the years, today, we are a family of 1300+ employees with our operations spread all across India.
I am always driven and motivated by challenges in the business, the ever emerging technologies and modernization of the country. In fact, progress for me has never been a dream, it has always been a distant reality and for us at CIPL, once a milestone is achieved there is always another one waiting to be crossed.
How would you define Corporate Infotech as an organization and its position in the market? What makes your company stand out from the populous industry?
We are an organization driven by passion. We take pride in our employees having knowledge, skillset, and desire to achieve the best possible results for our clients and in turn us.We always strive to provide individual opportunities and great exposure to our employees so that they can succeed in individual capacity and in turn benefit the entire organization. We are a fast growing IT system integration company operating at the national level and are a preferred brand name among government enterprises which recognize us as a `one stop technology destination'.
CIPL has had a great journey over the years. What has been the growth strategy that enabled the company to maintain its unique position in the market?
Over a period of 13+ years, we have developed a strong portfolio of products and services that not only help our clients across the country put forward an enhanced proposition to their customers, but also ensure an over whelming solutioning experience in the process. Having had a humble beginning by providing end user computer devices,today we deliver IT infrastructure, digital solutions and software services in the most complex environments. We are always in the process of adapting newer trends and technologies like Cloud, IOT, Analytics, Mobility, etc. to help our customers with the ever

Why did you choose UttarPradesh to be the breeding ground of yourcompany? How has been the city favoring you so far in your operations?
It's a fact that Noida(in UttarPradesh) is the hub of India's growth as an economic superpower. Home to young, motivated and talented technocrats, it was a no brainer that Noida was the perfect choice to set up our business, thanks to the unlimited access to skillful manpower. The city is also the first choice of most of the large Indian and multinational companies, due to its advantageous location. Furthermore, with Noida's close proximity to the National capital, we are only minutes away from our prestigious customers, which helps us in ensuring seamless communication with them and fast turnarounds for their needs.
Being an entrepreneur itself implicates an opportunity to have satisfaction at different levels. In your professional journey so far, which are the milestones that have given you utmost satisfaction both as an individual and as an entre preneur?
I believe that my journey with CIPL has been a constant effort towards achieving milestones better than the last. Individually, it's always a pleasure to see your dream getting bigger and better every day. It gives me immense pleasure to see the CIPL family growing from a few people to a large gathering of motivated individuals. On the professional front, and as a director, customer satisfaction would always be my prime goal. I will always cherish the day when CIPL as a company received its first large order both in hardware as well as software development segment. Today, we have a national level presence, we are the preferred choice of our customers including leading OEMs, and these mile stones were achieved through combined efforts of all of us.
Going forward, what are the changes in market behavior that you anticipate and what are the opportunities that you foresee?
The IT solutions market today is more inclined towards high availability of infrastructure, big data, analytics, artificial intelligence and virtual reality etc. Latest in the trend, we see an influx in virtual connections & work environments. People are relying on technologies more than ever before and this calls for a huge amount of change that will come in the near future in terms of how technology is used to make lives easier. We foresee a huge opportunity in the fields of cloudcomputing, conferencing solutions, analytics, surveillance etc.
In the light of your strong experience in the IT industry, what advice would you give to the budding entrepreneurs?
Believe in yourself, plan, take risks, manage finances, keep learning and follow your passion!
