Could you give a brief account of your professional background and experiences? What is the motivation that fuels your daily routines?
The journey began in 1979 with a small paper trading unit. With the passage of time, the company grew and eventually became an authorized wholesale dealer of the paper giant ITC Limited (Paperboards & Specialty Papers Division) India. Jani Sales’ more than 40 years of experience has enabled it to develop the necessary know-how and technology to create quality products that meet the needs of customers while also respecting the environment. Today, we are one of the largest manufacturers of M G Papers for packaging and tissue products in India. Our paper manufacturing facility is located in Sarigam, Gujarat, India.

We have grown into a global company with operations throughout India and an annual combined paper, packaging, and trading capacity of over 100,000 tonnes. Jani Sales now sells its products in over ten countries across four continents.

You possess over a decade of experience. How has your path to success been and what is your success mantra?
The most significant advantage, in my opinion, is that we have a good understanding of the market due to our presence in every category and field of Paper, which
gives us an advantage over our competitors. The disadvantage is that we have too much market exposure, which can be concerning at times. The opportunity exists in both directions you know a product, and if you have the necessary backing, you should definitely pursue it. It takes consistent hard work because there is a lot at stake with your current business model.

How would you define Jani Sales as an organization and its position in the market? What is the unique proposition that your organization offers to clients?
We are dedicated to meeting the needs of our customers. There are many misconceptions about the strength and application of paper goods because conventional wisdom holds that paper is of poor quality and would not serve the purpose. Jani Sales values quality and strives to provide the best product to its customers. To do so, we rely on the best available sources and expertise. We place a strong emphasis on quality and never stray from it. We also provide solutions to customer needs, which sets them apart from their competitors. Understanding customer needs and delivering the right product has been their most significant accomplishment in recent years.

Could you tell us about the sustainable practices that Jani Sales’ has adopted in its operations and the company's visions towards a sustainable future?
We have used the best machines and equipment to achieve the highest paper quality standards. We have a perfect product mix where we can manufacture 100 percent virgin products, 100 percent recycled products, and a mix of recycled and virgin products.

Going forward, what are the changes in market behavior that you anticipate and what are the opportunities that you foresee?
We made the decision to create technologically sound solutions that address the market's need for environmentally friendly alternatives to traditional paper goods after realizing how few sustainable paper solutions were currently available. It furthers the implementation of our business's values of environmental responsibility and sustainability.

Based on your experiences, what advice would you give to budding industry leaders?
The use of technology is very important in today's world, without it, it is very difficult to deliver a world class product. For this, systems and networks must be constantly upgraded.
