How would you describe your entrepreneurial journey so far? What factors motivated you to establish The Redwood Edge?
Well, it's been quite a journey for me over the last 26 years. In 1996, I was working with Bank of America when, due to some medical issues, I was in and out of the Hospital for over 11 months. This cost me my job and I moved out of Delhi, to Pune, and established The Redwood Edge. The name 'The Redwood Edge' was inspired by pictures of the Redwood forest which taught me to Stand Tall despite adversity and challenges.

It has been an amazing journey since then. We have covered close to 2lakh participants, delivered programs in over 26 countries, and conducted workshops for around
160 clients. I'm particularly pleased and humbled by the fact that while we're not a huge firm, we've managed to stay relevant in the industry for over 26 years. And I believe that the key to our success has been our customer centric approach. Every business contract that we have got has come purely through references.

The Redwood Edge's vision is to become an indispensable extension of each of our customers' teams, bringing fresh perspectives and innovative solutions to focus on their most pressing challenges. In business, there are three elements to every thing we do art, science, and discipline. As professionals, we bring our unique combination of these elements to create value for clients

Define The Redwood Edge as an organization and its position in the market.
The Redwood Edge is recognized as a specialist in the area of Skill Enhancement, with highly customized sessions as per the audience and training requirements. It is crucial,in my opinion to provide participants with individualized, need based programs. Hence, we aim to deliver interactive learning and have a vision to become an indispensable extension of each of our client’s teams, bringing innovative solutions to focus on their most pressing challenges. By inculcating the Soft Skills which are even more relevant now, we help our clients take the next step towards meeting their business goals and gain an all round development both personally and professionally. Furthermore, we are committed to providing our customers with training classes of the highest standard. We are a teaching business, so we work within those parameters, but we believe deeply in our work and give it our all. Our aim is that the skills and knowledge participants gain in our seminars will continue to serve them long after the program is over.
How do you foster a learning culture in your team to draw valuable insights that are relevant to help meet your client’s requirements or demands in the market today?
In business, there are three elements to everything we do art, science, and discipline. As professionals we bring our unique combination of these elements to create value for clients. One of the most important pillars of success in our industry is knowledge. We invest time and resources in staying up to date with industry trends and developments. As consultants, it's crucial that we understand our clients businesses and can offer expert advice. Thats why we prioritize hiring candidates who are knowledge driven and committed to continuous learning. It is all about trying to stay ahead of the curve. Even during the pandemic, we made sure to invest in our learning and development, and have used that knowledge to help clients navigate the challenges of digital transformation.

What is the future roadmap you have envisioned for the company?
I believe that the future road map for our organization is marked by the exposure we have gained through our past experiences. Our focus is on growing more internationally and expanding our one-to-one coaching services, which offer unique benefits. Also, the company aims to be with the participants in their individual pursuit from their vision to execution, and be a facilitator. In addition, we have augmented our workshops by introducing digital components to improve our participants' experiences. As we witness a shift in the coaching industry towards individual needs, we see a great opportunity for our organization to offer our expertise and support.
